New Music Artist Tops the Charts in 2020!
Jace (13), released his first single, Get On With It, on Spotify, Apple, YouTube music, etc. on May 18th. He loves music… singing, composing, performing, playing percussion, recording and listening. When he is not working on his music you can find him lifting weights, playing Fortnite, swimming, playing games, doing puzzles with Dad and doing his school work online & in person (8th grade). Christian Minister Lifts Wherever He Goes!
Ryan (19) began this year as a missionary in Argentina. He was brought home due to COVID in April and quickly earned his Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) license. He was then sent to the Dallas Texas East Mission to continue his missionary work. He still loves to lift weights whenever he gets the chance and lifts everyone around him as he teaches of our Savior, Jesus Christ! More Pictures
Happy Couple Finds Love in Lockdown!
Meagan (21) returned from her mission in February. She was quick to find a job, a car, and a man! Eric Pinckney was ready to pick up where they left off and they were married on July 29th in the Mt. Timpanogos Temple. They are both going to school (BYU & UVU) and working from home and can’t imagine life any different than being together 24/7. We are so glad to add Eric to our family… they make a great couple! More Pictures
Japan Mourns Loss of 2 Graduate Students!
Thomas and Chanel were planning on spending 2020 in Japan as exchange students, but Corona kept them home in Utah. Chanel graduated in Asian Studies with an emphasis and minor in Japanese. Thomas is graduating this month in Computer Science with minors in Math and Japanese. Thomas will be starting his new job in January with Lucid. It has been so fun to have them living with us and we even got to vacation to Yellowstone together! Road Trip! More Pictures
Magic Moments Happen Despite Disneyworld Closure!
With Skeets, Akali and Nami living in Japan, we were so sad to not be able to meet up in Florida this spring, but they made the best of it and went to Tokyo Disneyland… 3 times! Akali graduated from the Takasaki City University of Economics this year and is a full time mom to our adorable granddaughter! Nami is 1½ and we LOVE getting to talk to her online! Star Stealer Reincarnated After 38 Years!
Spencer and Moriah have been working on some fun projects this year as we have all stayed home a little more than usual. Spencer has been working on remaking a game, Star Stealer that Curtis made many years ago. We’re all excited to see it! He still works for iSparks from home. Moriah has used her talents to make some fun art projects using Photoshop. (I love my birthday gift!) They love to play computer games and it’s fun to see the kids connect on Fortnite. More Pictures
Almost Stranded on a Cruise Ship Again!
Our cruise last year never made it to the destination, so we had a voucher for a cruise this year! Knowing nothing about COVID yet, Curtis and Denise ventured off on a cruise in February. We watched the news of cruise ships being quarantined, but thankfully we had no problems and had a great time! This year was full of work, wedding planning, extra kids at home, and lots of games and family time. We weren’t able to get together with Skeets and his family as planned, but we are trying to learn a little Japanese on Duolingo. We celebrated our 30th anniversary in November! When we are not working or playing games, you will find Curtis doing Bishop things and Denise going on runs and playing pickleball with her friends. More Pictures
