Teen sensation tours japan!
Jace (16, 11th grade), loved touring Japan with Ken this summer! They visited both of their families and spent 13 days seeing all they could. He started his second year of wrestling and released a new song, “let go” under the pseudonym Jello. He loves the freedom his driver’s license has given him and the fun of dating. You will find him wrestling, driving, hanging out with family or friends, studying, or eating! More Pictures
bonus son conquers american school system!
Kenshin (18, 12th grade), is in his third year of living in America! He will graduate from Lone Peak High School with honors this year and is planning on a mission and college. He hopes to go to BYU Provo or BYU Hawaii. He will be working toward his driver’s license before he leaves for Japan in June. MIA Soldier returns in time for wedding day!
Ryan (22) and Alayna (23) were engaged in April! They spent the entire month of July apart as Ryan worked (and recovered from ACL surgery) and Alayna went to Army Camp (where she couldn’t even have a phone for many days). They were married August 19th in the Washington DC Temple & had 2 amazing receptions! They are both in the Army & ROTC and BYU students in the Accounting Major. Ryan is also in the National Guard. Family quits job to travel!
Meagan (24) & Eric (26) & Blake (2) traveled to Japan this summer just after Eric lost his job. It was Eric & Blake’s first time getting passports and traveling abroad. Eric got a new job in IT at 1-800-Contacts. Meagan ran a half marathon and in a women’s Mamale Mountain Race. After a heartbreaking miscarriage, they are happy to announce they are due with baby #2 in July 2024. You will find them finishing school assignments (almost done!), playing rec basketball, loving tractors & mac n cheese (Blake) or posting for their new business, Goal Getter Girls. Scandinavian family visits the old country!
Thomas (27) and Chanel (26) & Bluette (2) had an amazing adventure touring Norway, Sweden, Denmark & Finland this year! They fit right in with their blonde hair & Bluette’s big blue eyes! They also went on their first cruise together to Mexico! Thomas became a team lead and is now in his 4th year of working for Lucid Software. He works from home. Chanel is working on her Computer Science degree at WGU from home. Bluette loves playing with her parents and their new dog, Chugg. You will find them walking Chugg, playing games of all kinds (switch, VR, board), and helping younger siblings with homework!

Bold move changes family forever!
Skeets (30) & Akali (25), Nami (4) and Shion (2) made the move from Japan to Utah just before Christmas! Akali got her green card! They are living with us while they look for a home to buy. They plan to live in the US indefinitely! They hosted many family members and friends in Japan before leaving. Skeets is our only employee at iSparks, inc. and has been with us full time for over 7 years! You will find them working, playing with their kids, learning to drive (Akali), loving anything with pink or hearts (Nami), loving anything with trains or red (Shion) and loving being surrounded by family! Spencer (32) and Moriah (30) had another wonderful year of travel! From a Taylor Swift concert in Pennsylvania to a Disney Cruise in the Bahamas to Disney World in Florida and a trip to Japan. These were only some of their travels this year! Spencer is in his 3rd year as a software developer for Purple. Moriah has become the travel planner extraordinaire! You will find them planning more trips, working from remote locations, crafting, gaming together, with the YW at church (Moriah) and working out with Curtis at 6am (Spencer)! More Pictures
lottery win Pays for family travel & events!
We feel like we won the lottery with these great kids! This year was definitely a year of travel for our entire family! We enjoyed trips for 2 (cruise to Jamaica & Idaho Waterfalls trip) and trips with kids (Disney World & Disney Cruise with Spencer & Moriah and almost all of the family in Washington DC)! We had almost everyone together for Ryan & Alayna’s wedding in Maryland! Together again for their reception in Utah! And then ALL TOGETHER in December when Skeets & Akali moved back home! Our first family Christmas party with EVERYONE in the same room! All 18 1/2 of us! Curtis was released as Bishop in October. We are LOVING the time we get together on Sundays and every day! Curtis (54) is refocusing on iSparks and keeping business strong and Denise (53) balances her time between teenagers at home, helping with grandkids and visiting parents. Life is so good!
